Conversion of natural logarithms into common logarithms

Sometimes we need to transform a natural logarithm into a common logarithm and vice versa.

We can do this by using the rule

 

Example 13

 

Taking antilogs

 antilog 0.3400 = 2188

∴                 E = 2.188

Or log6.3256.48 = 2.188
